Adding customer user field to customer statements

    by Greg S » Thu Feb 01, 2007 2:28 pm

We have constructed a style sheet by editing the basic statement form, the problem I am having is inserting a user field that is available in the invoice dictionary. This field is called ADDRESS3 and its description is CUAUX000. This field is critical for statements as it contains the last part of the address for many of our customers.

We need to replace the field CUSADR2 with ADDRESS3

Please advise if you can tell me how to make this field available on the statement form.

Load the form into the Visual Builder editor.

From the menu select Edit|Form Properties

Click on the Links tab button

See Under "Database + Key" if you see this entry:

    CUAUX000->AUXKEY

If not, type it into the first empty slot.

(Usually directly below the entry that reads "CUSTREC->CUSCODE")

In the field next to it type:

    ACCOUNT

    Press Save button.

Double-click on the field you want to change.

Change "List" from "Dictionary" to "Database" if it does not say this already.

You should now see your user field on the list if you scroll down far enough.

    Double-click to paste it in.

Press OK to close the dialog.

Select File|Save to save your changes.
