I imported some new Stock Pricing but totally forgot that I had Multi Location so I imported about 690 items into a blank location and obviously Capital created new item codes for them. I now need to delete these and reimport into a location and copy them to the other locations.

How do I delete all the blank location stock? I was too scared to use Global Stock Delete and leave it all blank and the help file didn’t say….

The general procedure for recovering from this situation is:

1. Make a back-up first.

2. Go to Installation Workshop, then from the menu select Toolbox|Stock Location Maintenance.

3. Leave Current Location blank.

4. Put "X" in New Location.

5. Select Action as "Move".

Once you've moved all blank items to location X, use Global Stock Delete to delete all items at location X.
