When migrating from Windows 95 to XP, Microsoft introduced a legacy 'thunking' layer for 16-bit applications to access some common interface elements managed by the 32-bit OS. With the introduction of Windows 7 and later OS's (such as Server 2008), this interfacing layer got broken.
There is no solution to this. Series 7 is very old now and users should be migrating to the V8 platform for later versions of Windows and for other reasons.
