Please could you help me as I have just seen a problem with kits.

I copied one product across to location 8 and then when I copied across the kit to that location, I noticed that the kit had reverted to a standard item.

Please could you let me know how to avoid this happening and to fix the problem.

That is the standard behaviour of the software. You cannot create a new kit by simply transferring it to another location. All you will then do is create a standard item containing the consolidated cost of the individual components at the location of transfer.
