    'Department not found' message

    Hi,
    In Capital I am adding a payment in a customer's account and in the field for 'Department' I am trying to enter 'DSL' (one of the main departments we use) but it is coming up with the message 'Department not found'.
    This department code 'DSL' is used frequently, so I am puzzled as to why it is all of sudden 'not found'.
    Would you know the cause of this department not being found?
    Your help would be kindly appreciated.

    A department is made up of a customer internal account and a supplier internal account. What you describe usually happens when one of these internal accounts are accidentally deleted by a user. The solution here would be to add it back to the system if it's been removed.
