    Problem receipting purchase orders

    We are having problems with receipting purchase orders.

    The transaction number does not pick up the most current available number.
    It is stuck on a certain number and we have to manually change it every time we receipt an order.

    Is there a fix for this problem?

    You should be able to reset the current number by doing the following:

    Log all users out of CAPITAL. If any copies of CAPITAL are running on your network you will be unable to proceed.

    1. From the main menu select Special|Installation Workshop
    2. Log in with password if prompted
    3. Select from the menu Install|Transaction|Numbers
    4. Tab down to "Purchase Order Number" and specify the next number you want to use.
    5. Press Finished
    6. From main menu select File|Exit and when prompted click on Yes to save changes.
