    Kit warning message - what does it mean?

    We are receiving an message when trying to use one of our kits, "This kit is self referential and must be corrected before using it' or something. Trouble is the part code is not a kit it is a part number within a kit so we are not sure how to correct the ongoing error message. Please advise?

    That means one of the components inside the kit refers back to the kit itself. I.e.,

    KIT1 -->
    Component A
    Component B

    ...

    Component A
    Component C
    KIT1

    In other words, the kit makes no sense because the kit refers to a component that refers back to the whole kit. (Endless loop.)

    The components on the kit have to be reviewed and offending entry removed or corrected.
