We have users that we would like to set up to hide certain fields in the stock screen (security level 3), and others that we would like to set up to lock the same fields (security level 6). Other fields in the stock screen need to be editable to all users.

All users have edit capability from the main passwords area - this caters for the last part of the requirement.

However, when we "hide" fields from level 3 users, anyone higher than level 3 automatically has edit capabilities.

Is there a way to allow edit access to the stock screen for all users and hide fields for some users whilst locking them for others?

No sorry, you don't have that level of selective control over field locking in CAPITAL.
