Do I need to purchase Microsoft SQL server in order to be able to use this accounting software?

The Enterprise and Professional versions come with their own in-built database engine. You do not need to have SQL installed.

The Corporate Edition (which is not required for smaller sites, typically under 25 users) does require SQL, however, we supply the SQL software and include that cost in the application's pricing.
