How do I install this software on a network?

    Hi,

What is the correct way to install these applications on a network. Do I load the application once on my server and then create short-cuts to access it from my workstations from the server? Or do I need to load the software onto my individual computers and then point each running copy to my data on the server by specifying the 'data path' under File|Preferences|File Locations... ?

The correct way to install CAPITAL Office is to load it once on your server computer. Then run the program 'Setupclient.exe' found in your \CAPITAL folder on each of your workstations to create the necessary short-cuts.

Note that the Setupclient.exe application is not supplied in the evaluation/demo version of CAPITAL to save on download time.

It is not recommended that you install the software on individual workstations as this creates headaches and more work later on when it comes time to upgrade your software.
