Is there anywhere on the demo version that I can see an example of
how landing charges are added to imported products (DUTY, FREIGHT, GST)?

If you start the demo version, from the main menu select Transaction|Importing/Shipment Costing

Then press F1. Please click on the "Concepts" and "Hints & Problem Solver" tabs to get more information about this part of the system.
