When I try to start capital I keep getting the error message COMIX/8101 corruption detected. The file name is F:\CAPITAL\FPD\ctrlSys.DBF

How can I get my system running again?

The 8101 error means that the file ctrlsys.dbf found in your F:\CAPITAL\FPD folder has become corrupted. That is usually caused by a hardware or system failure happening at the time the file ctrlsys.dbf was being written to on your server. It might also happen if the file had accidentally been opened and altered by a program other than CAPITAL, e.g., Excel.

You will need to locate the last good copy of ctrlsys.dbf and restore it from your back-up of your FPD company.
