CAPITAL should be able to handle this well. You will require a central server running an operating system such as Windows Terminal Services or Metaframe.
In this environment users can connect to the CAPITAL database via internet access. CAPITAL will then allow you to these things and many others:
* have a shared inventory file accessible from all branches
* have the ability to hold local inventory specific to a branch
* transfer between branches and track "in transit" stock
* separate department and inventory location codes per branch
* have the ability to assign separate transaction number ranges and sequences for transactions produced by different branches
* have the ability to set-up different forms and reports by branch
* have the ability to restrict the visibility or access of transactions to specific branches and branch users using the security system
* restrict access to local or shared inventory subject to the user's security clearance
The availability of some features will depend on which edition of CAPITAL you operate. The smaller versions do not include all of these features.
