Is there a way to automatically allocate stock from the order entry screen at the time of creating a sales order ?

To completely automate the process, start the Installation Workshop program and select InstallSales Orders, then tick 'Force Back Order Allocations'

To selectively allocate stock, on a line item by line item basis, add the "Alloc" column to your sales order transaction. From the sales order menu select Customise|Column Options|Complete Column List. Then tick 'Allocated Stock' and press OK.

When you wish to allocate stock immediately, put the quantity you want to allocate under the 'Alloc' column that now appears on the transaction.
