This bulletin is for administrators or users who have accidentally placed CAPITAL Office in Maintenance Mode and need to deactivate this mode and reactivate their software.

This mode is active when the following message appears when users try to start CAPITAL:

Sorry, this application is presently closed for maintenance.

Please try again later.

To deactivate maintenance mode:

Open the command line (console) or select from the Windows main menu, Start, Run... and type the following:

C:\CAPITAL\INSTWIN.EXE /FORCELOAD

Once Installation Workshop loads in, go back to Toolbox|Maintenance Mode and reactivate the software.

Note that the above assumes you have loaded CAPITAL into your C:\CAPITAL folder. If this is not the case change C:\ to the appropriate path location where CAPITAL has been loaded.
