Issue

You may experience a 1015 error when attempting to launching CAPITAL Visual Builder, CAPITAL GL Controller, Screen Builder, or INSTALLATION Workshop from the CAPITAL main menu.

Compatibility

Series 7 applications.

Resolution

Check your CAPWIN.INI [Environment] settings and replace the UNC path with a drive letter based path. For example, if your path setting is:

CapData=\\Myserver\capshare\capital

change this to:

CapData=c:\capshare\capital

or whatever drive letter points to your CAPITAL folder.
