    Vista 64 Virtualisation

We have been running Capital office under Virtual PC 2007 since March this
year and have had no problems thus far, using Vista 64-bit as the host
    operating system.

We have discovered that Microsoft will not be porting OleDB Jet provider to
64-bit, which will mean that any custom software we use to interact with
capital data files will be forced to remain as 32-bit. Is there any plans in
the foreseeable future to change the file format of capital office system or
is it to remain as DBF?

The development team don't anticipate changing the file format in the foreseeable future for the Standard, Professional, Enterprise and Corporate Editions.

They do, however, expect to offer different file format options for the SQL (Corporate) Edition in the future. Our understanding is that the 64-bit versions of Windows will still be able to run all 32-bit applications.
