Opening WINMAIL.DAT files

I often receive email attachments in WINMAIL.DAT format but the CAPITAL mail reader doesn't support this format. Are there any workarounds?
We've found that if you install:
http://www.winmail-dat.com/download.php
On your local PC, then double click on the attachment a tool will open that will then allow you to read the contents.
