1. Open the transaction you wish to change the transaction number sequence for. E.g., go into purchase orders.
2. Change the transaction number to the number you want to start from.
3. Press the Close button (top left corner of window).
Your transaction number sequence will now be reset.
Also keep in mind that in Installation Workshop, under Install|Security if you set "Transaction No. Editing" to "9" only administrator level users will be able to change the transaction number sequence. Doing this can prevent operator typing mistakes from causing the above problem.
